In Malaysia, due to the increasing influx of migrants, fusion cuisine is being reinvented and is becoming increasingly the norm at numerous cafes and restaurants. Another incarnation of fusion cuisine implements a more eclectic approach, which generally features original dishes that combine varieties of ingredients that serve a Malaysian palate. Such a restaurant exists in the spanking new Setia City Mall: Kissaten, a cafe and restaurant, owned and managed by a successful Malaysian photographer/entrepreneur.
As its Japanese translation suggests, Kissaten is known for its cafe lifestyle. So to cater for that ambiance, The Great Indoors provided an array of incandescent lights, black industrial pendant lights and industrial caged explosion proof pendant lights, complementing their industrial swivel bar stools, black matte Tolix Tall Tabouret stools, single button tufted back upholstered seats and wooden shelvings. Their attention to details are carefully shown in their bar foot rails, floor tiles, pine wood wall panels, and exposed ceilings.
Do drop by and have a go at their homemade cheesecake.
