Shipping FAQ
Thank you for shopping at The Great Indoors. We’ll do our best to get your posters, prints, and goodies to you safely and on time. Here’s how shipping works around here:
Processing
- We work on a print-to-order policy. All our prints are packed and ready to roll within 1–3 business days.
- We ship straight from our studio in Shanghai, China.
Shipping Options & Rates
- Standard Shipping – reliable, affordable, your neighbourhood postal service that's never on time but gets there eventually.
- Express Shipping – priority mail, costs a bit more, faster and more likely to call or update you when the goods are on the way.
- Shipping rates vary by region and weight (because a tube with one poster isn't the same as three), but don't worry -- you'll see the exact cost at check out.
Estimated Delivery Times (including printing, packing and shipping)
- East Asia (Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan): 10–12 business days
- Southeast Asia: 12–14 business days
- North America & Europe: 14–21 business days
- Oceania: 14–21 business days
Customs & Duties
Some countries may ask you to pay import duties or taxes when your order arrives. That’s decided by your local customs office, and sadly, we can’t control it. Posters usually slip under low-value thresholds, but it’s best to check your country’s rules.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with a tracking link. Give it a couple of days to update as the parcel makes its way out of Shanghai.
Where We Don't Ship
If you can’t check out with your address, drop us a message — we’ll see what we can do.
Delivery Issues
- If your order is delayed or stuck in customs, we’ll help track it down.
- If your address was entered incorrectly and the parcel comes back to us, we’ll happily re-ship — but at your cost.
- If your poster arrives damaged (rare, but it happens), send us a photo within 7 days and we’ll sort out a replacement.
Packaging
Posters ship in sturdy tubes to keep them safe.
How can I track my parcel?
As soon as your order is packed we will send you a shipment confirmation email with the delivery information.
Please note that it can take some days before we are able to provide you with tracking information. If for some reason we are unable to deliver your package, it will automatically be returned to The Great Indoors.
Delays and Refunds
Depending on where you reside, your order might experience a delay. Thank you for your patience and understanding. There will be NO REFUNDS for delays in delivery.
